Cancellation Policy
For event registration Vermont Municipal Clerks' and Treasurers' Association offers refunds for cancellation when requested at least 7 days prior to the event; please contact the VMCTA President. We do not offer refunds for membership.
January First Thursday Training: Town Meeting Day Prep
The VMCTA Certification and Continuing Education Committee is excited to present another "First Thursday Training". Trainings will be held the first Thursday of every month from 4:00-5:00 PM. They will last 1 hour and will be held virtual on zoom. The training will be recorded and posted to the VMCTA website for 30 days following the meeting. There will be a brief 30 minute presentation and then 30 minutes for a question and answer period. All questions should be directed to the host in the chat box. Registration is open to VMCTA members only and there is space for the first 95 participants. This is a free benefit for our VMCTA members. A link to a Flexiquiz will be shared to the members present at the end of the training in the chat. VMCTA members wishing to receive a certificate of participation must be present at the meeting and pass the Flexiquiz with a score of 70 or more.
Presentation - Therese Lounsbury (Wilmington Clerk) and Charlie Degener (Woodstock Clerk) will lead you through the process for preparing for Town Meeting Day on March 3rd. They'll cover both Floor Meeting and Australian Ballot preparations and processes.
